A little about my area of study.
My Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Science was designed to help me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the underlying functions within the body. I was intrigued to understand general medicine, in order to directly help people in the need of health care. The main foundations of the area of exercise science were biomechanics, kinesiology, clinical anatomy & physiology, chemistry, physics, psychology. I was also led to take a range of general education classes in other areas broad areas of study; helping me to become a more well rounded individual. Studying Clinical Exercise Science prepared me for careers in a wide range of healthcare and other professional employment areas. Outside of the classroom, I was very involved in physical fitness itself, intramural sports at the recreation center, and Grand Valley's Exercise Science Club.
